1: Chain [ch] 4.
2: Insert your hook into first chain stitch you made to join.

Chain [ch] 1 for single crochet stitch and insert your hook into the center ring and 8 single crochet stitch into the center ring .
And 1 slip stitch in the first single crochet stitch to join.

Round-2 [16 sc]

Chain [ch] 1 for single crochet stitch and insert your hook into the center ring and 2 single crochet stitch (\X/) into each remaining [sc] around. And 1 slip stitch in the first sc to join.
